What students wrote after they left the table.
These letters name a sitting, a chart, or a constraint. They are not a score. The academy does not publish a rating strip.
I came in calling every peak a swing high. By the second Thursday I had erased half of them. The part I still use is the covered-volume rule: I do not look at the tall bars until the low is either holding or gone.
I brought a printed gold chart with three weeks on it and an account number I had forgotten to cover. They made me fold that corner under before we sat. Ninety minutes was enough to rename two pauses. I had hoped we would also mark the currency pair I watch at work, and Kanya refused, which was fair and slightly annoying. One market, as written.
The print that night was a SET share I do not follow, so the first hour felt remote. I stayed because the stall they circled looked exactly like a bar on my own sheet from the week before. I would have preferred to bring my paper. The clinic does not work that way, and they said so when I booked.
An August sheet that stayed unmarked the next morning
Ploy Srisuk lives in Mueang Samut Prakan and had been keeping a private notebook of gold for about a year. The pages had filled with arrows. She joined the August 2026 cohort because the Tuesday and Thursday hours matched a shift that ends at 17:30. She named gold as her one market. The printed cash-session charts were on the table from the first night.
On evenings one and two she did what many students do: she circled three peaks and called each a swing high. Lalin sat beside her and asked which prior low had actually broken. Two of the circles came off. The cloth was still over the volume, so the argument stayed on price. Ploy later said that waiting felt artificial until Thursday of the second week, when the uncovered bars showed almost no participation under the high she had wanted to trust.
I took the August cohort after a year of marking charts alone in a notebook that had become all arrows. The room is quieter than I expected. Eight people, pencils, the cloth over the volume for two full evenings. On my own sheet, a higher high in gold had almost no participation under it. I had been treating it as the start of something. We left it labelled as a pause. The following week price came back to the shelf we had underlined. I still think evening five ran long, and my bus does not love a 21:00 finish, but the sheet I took home is the first one I have not scribbled over the next morning.
The shelf she mentions was a prior swing low the room had underlined on evening two, before anyone discussed the dry push. The following week’s return to that shelf is her observation from her own later marks, not a result the academy claims it produced. What the cohort did was leave the high labelled as a pause while the low still held.
Her reservation about the 21:00 finish is common for students coming by bus from Bang Phli and Bang Bo. The academy has not moved the hours. The sequence needs the last half hour for the student’s own sheet, and cutting it short is how marks leave unfinished for the wrong reason.
